A Last-Minute Easter Dress: Dropped Waists, Ukrainian Florals, and Little Hands Helping

This year's Easter gown came together in a whirlwind of late-night patterning, Ukrainian-inspired florals, and a little one at my side. Made from a custom-printed silk/wool and lined in silk charmeuse, the dropped-waist silhouette was a last-minute decision—and a new favorite. From sketch to stitch (with a few machine hiccups along the way), the dress became a reflection of tradition, family, and the beauty of handmade craftsmanship.
