Couture Consultation 30 mins Appointment | Anagrassia Atelier | $50 Consultation Fee

Schedule a one-on-one couture consultation at the Anagrassia Atelier in Mishawaka, Indiana. This 30-minute consultation is designed for clients who would like to discuss a custom garment, couture redesign, or special occasion alterations project with designer and dressmaker Mary Grace Godfrey.

Consultations may include:

• Wedding gown alterations
• Redesigning a mother’s wedding gown into a new special occasion dress
• Custom bridal gowns
• First Holy Communion dresses
• Mother of the bride or groom gowns
• Couture eveningwear and special occasion dresses
• Heirloom redesign projects
• Custom coats, jackets, and formalwear

Please come prepared for your appointment. If fitting a gown is necessary, bring the garment and any undergarments or shoes you plan to wear. Clients are also encouraged to bring inspiration images, printed photos, fabric ideas, or a Pinterest board to share with Mary Grace during the meeting.

Scheduling & Measurements

Saturdays are often the best days for Mary Grace to schedule consultations and fittings, especially when measurements need to be taken.

Mary Grace also finds that measurements are most accurate when clients are well rested and relaxed. Brides are encouraged to come after a restful evening and calm morning whenever possible. Proper posture, comfort, and avoiding rushed or stressful schedules help achieve the most accurate fit and best overall results for couture work and alterations.

Following the consultation, Mary Grace will spend additional time reviewing your project, considering design details, construction methods, sourcing, and labor requirements before providing an estimate. Because every couture and alteration project is unique, estimates are not guaranteed final prices.

Please note:

• Projects may increase in cost if the scope changes significantly after work begins.
• Large weight fluctuations may require substantial additional labor and fittings.
• Frequent design changes or indecision can increase labor costs.
• Switching to more expensive fabrics, trims, or embellishments will increase pricing.
• Material sourcing costs may fluctuate unexpectedly due to availability, shipping, or tariffs.

Atelier & Fitting Policies:

• Due to the shared commercial studio space, sewing machines, irons, and professional equipment throughout the atelier, we kindly ask that young children and siblings do not attend fittings or consultations.
• Brides may bring one guest to the initial consultation appointment.
• For most fittings after the consultation, Mary Grace asks that clients attend alone whenever possible. This helps keep fittings efficient, keeps alteration costs lower for clients, and allows Mary Grace to focus fully on fit and construction details without additional distractions.
• A maximum of two guests may attend the final fitting.
• During some final fittings, Mary Grace may also take complimentary professional photographs in the atelier. Please come prepared for a few snapshots!

The $50 consultation fee is nonrefundable.

All garments are handcrafted at Anagrassia Atelier using couture techniques and careful attention to fit, construction, and detail.
